the premium smartphone sector is more than crowded in absolute terms, especially with the arrival of new serious competitors like Oppo and OnePlus. As with every ad, it’s the Pro and Pro + models that are likely to get the attention.
But we should not ignore too much the “non-Pro” model, more classic but with more interesting value for money. Last year, the P30 Pro made an impression with a successful design and, above all, impressive performance. The new P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro + continue in this line with an ever more impressive new photo block. But the big difference is that Huawei’s flagship line will launch without Google Mobile Services, like the Mate 30 Pro.
Huawei will have to cope with ever stronger competition but will also have to convince the consumer to be able to do without these famous Google services.
